About the Book

The first self-published book by Robin Sharma is a brilliant canon. As the name suggests, this book contains a wealth of knowledge and experiences for you to tap into. The book has a collection of 200 principles and methods to improve your life. It is not narration but a methodically advised action to take at a slow pace.

This book will urge you to explore your inner-self that many times we forget to give its due. If you follow the 30 Day regime, life is going to charter through uncharted territories.

There are three parts to the book:

Part I: Megaliving Philosophy

This part is literally for the people who lost hope in their life. It outlines the philosophy behind living a successfully healthy life.

Part II: 200 Master Secrets

It is the most loved part by the readers. Here the author made the book more interesting with 200 strategies to lead a positive life. These are simple to follow yet powerful secrets.

Part III: 30-days Program for a Perfect Life

The author here outlines the 30-day procedure to follow a perfect life.

My Review - A Personal Verdict

‘Megaliving: 30 Days to a Perfect Life’ by Robin Sharma is the art of sculpting a beautiful life. Being the first self-published book by the author, this book is a treasure for a pirate. It is loaded with immense intellect, wise sayings, poignant quotes, and great advice.

It is worth reading and spending time on. It gives insight into being positive at all stages of life mentally, physically, and socially. It focuses on the mind, taking care of our body, controlling our life, making it better, excelling in professional life, and building relationships.

However, at some point, I felt like I needed a story that evokes emotions as well as intellect. I prefer motivating a change through stories that evoke longing rather than simply through practical suggestions. But this book still connects with readers as the 30-day workshop is based on the author's life himself and his followed regime.

This book is the right dose of inspiration for an individual. It is believed it takes 21 days to make a habit and 90 days to make a permanent lifestyle change. But when precisely followed, Megaliving transforms life in a month. It might not bring change altogether but it guarantees a change in the dynamics of living.

Famous Quotes

  1. “A nail is driven out by another nail; habit is overcome by habit.”

  2. “There is nothing noble about being superior to some other person. The true nobility lies in being superior to your previous self.”

  3. "Success on the outside begins with success on the inside."

  4. "A super successful mindset does not happen in a day. You have to work hard on it just like any other worthy pursuit in life."

  5. "Anything you faithfully and honestly believe you can achieve, you will achieve if you take persistent action in that direction."

The Bottom Line

Mega living is indeed the best book to read if one is looking to transform his life both professionally and personally. Robin Sharma, emphasizes controlling one's mind to achieve self-mastery which is life mastery. Written in a very simple yet inspiring tone, this one goes into the list of 'best self-help books.'
