It’s not always easy to find inspiration but the fact that you can bring a smile to someone’s face is a very special feeling. I create content either to help people or to entertain them.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Born and brought up in Pune. I built a passion for photography when I passed 10th grade, my parents saw that passion and bought me a digital camera immediately.
Soon with photography, I also developed an interest in YouTube and videography. Since that time, creating content has become less of a work and more of an enjoyment.
2. What led you to start your page and what is it about?
Back in 2015 when everyone was posting pictures, I had a medium to showcase my photography. I kept posting pictures and got a lot of appreciation from users across the world.
I had no plan as such, I just went with the flow. My page highlights lifestyle as well as nature photography.
3. Is it financially sustainable to be a digital creator these days?
Yes and no. For a well-established digital creator, it can be financially sustainable as they are in the spotlight for brands as well as other collaborations which helps create a revenue stream.
For someone just starting out, they have to make the cut and it’s going to be a while before it becomes financially sustainable to become a digital creator.
4. How can someone become a successful content creator?
Creating quality & unique content, being consistent with putting out content, and understanding your target audience are the three things to keep in mind. With this, promoting your content timely and creatively will definitely help with the numbers. If you try and follow these things, luck will follow you!
5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
It’s not always easy to find inspiration but the fact that you can bring a smile to someone’s face is a very special feeling. I create content either to help people or to entertain them. My goal is to make at least one person’s day, and that motivates me to churn out content.
6. Who is your favourite creator and why?
Undoubtedly Casey Neistat! His content is always extremely simple but the execution is on point. He captures his regular day in such a unique way and that motivates me to create something similar.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
The Accidental Apprentice by Vikas Swarup. The journey of a girl from a normal family becoming a CEO inspired me a lot. The book revolves around my favourite quote ‘Everything Happens for a Reason’.
