Imagine Joey, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Monica and Ross as cops and then you can imagine what a blast this show is. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has a lovable team of characters.

Funny and exciting multi-episode storylines, with a wacky and agreeably harmless sense of humour. B99 is a workplace comedy, with the cop team just as lovable and close as Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe.

The Big Bang Theory

TBBT is a lighthearted, well-written series that features an endearing cast that offers viewers lots of humorous, laughable, lovely moments. Leonard, Sheldon, and their buddies embrace their genius and understand their social shortcomings.

They additionally recognize the value of friendship, loyalty, and staying true to themselves, no matter what the rest of the world thinks about them.

The display didn`t start that similar to Friends, however, it slowly advanced as a show about a group of men and women as they tackle friendship and work and the dating scene.

How I Met Your Mother

Unlike Friends, this show even though based on a set of buddies in New York, with 3 guys and ladies as opposed to 3 of each. Two of them have an on/off relationship, of them are married, and one of them is a chauvinistic womanizer.

So, it can seem like it ripped off Friends. But really, all it`s responsible for is taking the simplistic premise of Friends to the subsequent degree with nonlinear storytelling and experimentations with the format. It`s like if Friends had the complicated writing and plotting of Arrested Development.

Broad City

The show revolves around two best friends in their 20s. Broad City show is like a Friends for the 2010s with a smaller ensemble. It is created by real-life best friends Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, who also star as the series aptly named leads, Abbi and Ilana.

The series captures the essence of New York life as Friends did. Across 5 seasons, 50 episodes, Broad City delivers endless laughs.

The Office

Just like friends, The Office has hundreds of hilarious episodes, filled with lovable characters and relatable situations. The Office began just one year after the Friends gang went off the air. The Office is a luscious saga of Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam, Janice is one of the great comedy successes with groundbreaking records.

In the end, it is all about the characters which makes a difference and these mates are just awesome.

Modern Family

Modern Family has one of the most mind-blowing sitcom cast ever.

Just like Friends back in its day, Modern Family has spent its entire run as one of the highest-rated sitcoms on the air, regularly sweeping the Emmys. Ed O’Neill leads a very lovable ensemble of characters as the patriarch, Jay Pritchett, with strong support from Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stone street.

The show is a mockumentary format, but the documentary crew isn’t a part of the show’s universe like The Office; it’s more of a stylistic thing, like Parks and Rec.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I love, you love and we all love Friends for the fact that it revolves around a group of close friends who gets into wacky misadventures around the city, who barb each other a lot along the way.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a twin to Friends. But instead of hanging out at the coffee shop, these characters hang at the Irish Bar they own- Paddy’s Pub.

Parks and Recreation

A lot of people love Friends because it’s funny without being cynical. A lot of comedies have characters who hate each other. This can be fun too but the essence of a lighthearted sitcom gets lost in the shows.

And if this is the kind of show you like, you need to check out Parks and Recreation immediately. It is like The Office without the meanness. I bet you won’t be disappointed.
