Mehak Khan

Fitness is a state of good health and well-being. Everyone wants to be fit mentally and physically. Since these days’ people are busy with their daily routine work and those who do jobs, just sit all the time and have no physical activity, this way their mind gets tired too.

So, this is the reason people find places where they could do physical activity and, in this way, they would get mental peace.

We have seen that people often ignore mental fitness which is extremely wrong they should pay heed towards both of them (physical and mental health) in order to stay fit and active.

I have been interested in fitness since I was young. I used to watch various exercises and take care of my diet.

When I saw that our generation is suffering from depression and stress. This is not a proper routine. There is no lifestyle.

Then I decided to grow my knowledge and learn more about the profession. I started my fitness journey.

With a job and study it’s difficult ,but I want to be a person who can work hard.

2) Why did you decide to become a fitness trainer and also tell us your success story?

I have been interested in fitness since I was young. I used to watch various exercises and take care of my diet. When I saw that our generation is suffering from depression and stress. This is not a proper routine. There is no lifestyle.

Then I decided to grow my knowledge and learn more about the profession. I started my fitness journey. With a job and study it’s difficult but I want to be a person who can work hard.

When the lockdown time started on 18 March 2020, everyone is locked up in their home and there is no activity. People are suffering from depression, stress, anxiety and overeating.

We looked at the situation and started a project called "look Yourself" as we had a team who worked on our social network for awareness, we are providing services free consultation, free exercise and free fitness activities we had created different Groups sessions.

There were also doctors who guided the people. Many people were satisfied with our work and recovering health issues and this was our biggest achievement.

3) What is your fitness mantra?

I always believe one thing no one can change your life unless you yourself want to.

There are so many reasons to cry, but just as there are so many reasons to be happy.

Focus on your people who believe in you.

4) How can one build a successful career in your field?

You don’t have to know everything about exercise and nutrition to help someone get in shape and improve their life. All you need is to know a little bit more about health and fitness than the person you’re trying to help.

No matter how well prepared you think you are, no matter how many tests you pass, no matter how many internships you do, you will eventually have to try stuff and you will still have to make mistakes. On your own.

So start doing and learning now.

No need to do anything fancy from the start. You don’t need to get a degree, rent space in a gym, or start your own studio. You can train people from electronic media and explore new things.

5) What different exercises one should do daily?

It depends on body type, but walking and running is the best workout for daily routine. At least 45 mins on a daily basis.

6) Is it fine to take a gap in between our daily exercise routine?

Take enough rest between your workout. It’s important to wait at least four to six hours between workout sessions, and rest different groups of muscles between days. Make sure people do proper training.

7) Is it fine for girls to follow daily exercise routine during periods? If not then what type of exercises are preferable these days?

Having your period doesn't mean you should ditch the gym. It is important to be aware that excessive exercise can cause a person to miss their period. Endurance and high-performance athletes may skip or stop periods due to hormonal and body changes.

If a person has started an intense exercise routine and starts missing periods, they should talk to their doctor. Having a regular menstrual cycle is usually a sign of good health. Starting to miss periods could signal a person is overdoing it when it comes to exercise. Many women experience bloating before and at the start of their period.

Period bloating can be uncomfortable and may negatively affect self-confidence. Women may feel like they have gained weight or that their stomach is swollen and sticking out. Fortunately, there are changes women can make that may reduce these symptoms. stretching exercises during periods is the best workout relief to lower pain and stress.

8) Is it important for girls to join the gym?

It is very necessary not only for men but also for a women to get fit as a man always wants to get fit. Women's workout include household activities and taking care of their kids.

They must have to run after their kids so that’s why most probably they do not need to go to the gymnasium. But 80% of women got overweight due to idle sitting. When they have a maid to work for households and caretaker maid of their kids. In that case, women can get overweight. So, they need to join the gym to be fit.
