What Are the 4 Yugas? Know the Life Cycle of Time!

The Universe is full of mysteries and we want to know more about our earth and universe in brief. We know by our scriptures that earth is made by God and the person which is born on earth is man. But we want to know about our yugas which are changing in the life cycle of time and new yugas come. But why does this happen that our yugas are changed from time to time, why one yuga has not been permanent on our earth. We have to explain it all.

Lord Brahma’s Life Related to Yugas

The life of Lord Brahma is 100 years, but it is a miracle year that if we think is never ended. One year consists of 360 days in Lord Brahma's life. 1 day is divided into two parts which are called Kulp, one Kulp is during the day and the other one is at night. 1 cup has 14 manu avatars and we are living in the 7 man avatar. 71 maha yugas are there in 1 manu avatar, One maha yugas consists of 4 yugas, Sat yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kaliyuga. The life cycle of Yugas is moving and it is all related to Lord Brahma’s Life.

The Satyuga 

The Satyug is the first yuga in the life cycle of all yugas. The Satyug is nearly around 17 lakh 28 thousand years. The age of humans in satyug is 10 thousand years to 1 lakh years. The four pillars of religion are there in the saying which were Austerity, Cleanliness, Truthfulness, and Kindness. Satyuga was also known as the guy of truth. 

The lie does not exist in the satyug. Humans can't lie to other people because they achieve the knowledge of telepathy for which they can read other people's minds. So, if they can read each other's minds, they can't lie. Humans have knowledge of the Vedas but they do not read the Vedic scriptures.

The Treta Yuga 

After Satyuga, the Treta Yuga comes which has a period of 12 lakh 96 thousand years. In Treta Yuga, one pillar of religion is not there which means that the one-fourth truth has declined in this yuga. The humans started working on their physical health and they ignored their mental health. 

The human age is declining and it is 10 thousand years. The war is being started for the power and the legacy of the king. The war fought between Lord Ram and King Ravana was in Treta yuga which is known as Ramayana. 

The Dwapara Yuga 

The third yuga is Dwapara yuga and in this guy, only two pillars of religion are there. Good and Evil are in the same condition. The knowledge of Vedic scriptures is very less in Dwapara yuga and humans keep developing their physical strength and they have a lifecycle only of 100 years. 

The lie and greed are increasing in humans. This yuga has a period of 8 lakh 64 thousand years. The most destructive war of Mahabharat occurred in Dwapara yuga which is between Kauravas and the Pandavas in the land of Kurukshetra. Lord Shri Krishna is on the side of the Pandavas which helps them to win the war.

The Kaliyuga 

The last yuga of the Mahayuga is Kalyug. In this yuga, only one pillar of religion is left and evil is stronger than good. When Lord Krishna has left the earth, the Kaliyug is started. The starting 10 thousand years of Kalyug is good but after that, the era of kali yuga is worse for humans. The knowledge of scriptures is destroyed by the humans in this yuga. The evils considered themselves Gods. 

The time of Kaliyuga is 4 lakh 32 thousand years and only 5 thousand years have passed. The age of humans in Kaliyuga was only 18 years. The humans were killing humans for their own interests. Lie and Greed is at their peak in this guy, Material world is considered the real world by the people in Kaliyug. The Kaliyuga end is done by the God Kalki which is the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu and they bring the Satyuga again after the ending of this Mahayuga.
