You might not get a dress or a shirt that is your desired size and then you have to go on returning the order, waiting for the order to be picked up and waiting some more for the refund. The entire process gets a bit lengthy but offline you can just visit the store, try your size, see if it fits you and buy it.

Shopping is an experience that often makes a cherished memory. The satisfaction of going out with your friends, family and loved ones to shopping is a different one that can not be found while shopping online.
