Teamwork work makes the dream work and always listen to your mother.

1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.

I am Anantya Anand. I'm 12 years old and studying in class 8. My role and responsibilities are like normal students i.e. studying, playing, and taking part in several school competitions and functions.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring to the same, approach it?

I started acting at the age of 6 and my mother use to make my videos and publish them on YouTube with time social media became a huge platform to perform and I got success and fame. My message for other aspiring students will be to follow your dreams and work hard on them and one day you will achieve your goal.

3. Do you have a message for parents to allow their kids to do things besides academics?

I guess nowadays every parent is allowing their kids to pursue the activities they want to do. And if kids are passionate about other things parents' support will boost their morale and will help them achieve their dreams. But of course, academics shouldn't be kept aside they should be taken along side by side. As my all shooting is done in advance on weekends as I need to study on weekdays. I don’t feel any pressure when working on the videos as my mother and my team take care of everything.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

My current role has made me achieve a few awards and recognitions which has made me and my family really proud.

  •  I got the Kids Choice Award by Nickelodeon in the year 2021.
  •  I got the Global Child Prodigy Award in the year 2019.
  •  The best was I got the Diamond button for reaching 10 million YouTube subscribers.
All these milestones make me really proud.

5. What are your career goals and how is what you are doing going to help you with that?

My career goal is to become an Actor. “I love acting so I am focusing on entertainment now." My mother looks for ideas. Sometimes, I have an idea and we develop it together, "Making real-time videos are going to help me with that and I am in a continuous process of exploring new ideas and methods to refine my acting skills.

Teamwork work makes the dream work and always listen to your mother.

Not exactly the conferences but yes workshops they can join really help and later on they can opt for internships as well.
