Is Indian Education System Really Problem of Students and Parents

In India’s education system there are some loopholes that have been a problem for the students. There is no better education in our country and also there is no better infrastructure in the education sector in India. Governments also do not spend more money on their annual budget for Education. There are no proper government schools and the cost of private schools is higher for some middle-class and low-class people.

So, they do not have options to put their children in Government schools because there are no fees for government schools. But the infrastructure of government schools is very bad all over India.

The students have to sit on the floors because some government schools don’t have benches for children. Even during the mid-day meal, the students don’t get proper food in the school. Also after the covid pandemic, online education had a deep impact on students' education.

India’s education system has many loopholes

There are changes that have to be done in the education system to improve the learning skills of our students. In India, youth students think that after graduation they find government jobs from 9 am to 5 pm.

Everyone wants to become a job seeker, not a job provider. There is a mentality of the students to find the jobs and after so many attempts when they can’t find the jobs they become unemployed and also in many cases they commit suicide.

It is one of the biggest problems in India and the government needs to change the education system of India by introducing Education reforms. Also, the students have to change their mentality of finding 9 to 5 jobs. They have to become job providers, not job seekers by starting their own businesses.

Students have also the pressure of becoming no.1

There is also pressure on the students from their parents and society in the childhood to become the no.1 in their school and college, to compete with other students, and also student had to study for more hours, and do not do any physical activity which can harm its health.

When students of 1st and 2nd class go to school, the weight of their bags is more than their weight. They have to carry lots of weight on their shoulders and those students who don’t have public transport have to walk to their school with the weight of books.

Also, the parents have tension if their children can’t perform well in the exams or in the assignments, they have to listen to the society or relatives that their children can’t do anything in their life.

And when students decided what they can do in their career their parents can’t allow them and orders them the students have to choose their career by the choice of parents.

But in some years, the mentality of students and parents is changing and Government is also providing the platforms where students can show their talent and build their careers. Start-Up India and Skill India are the platforms where students who have an entrepreneur skill can show their skills.

Delhi government is also running the Business Blasters platform where those students who are studying in Delhi government schools have a chance to show their skills to investors to invest in their ideas.

New Education Policy is the start of reforming the Education

Sector

To reform the education sector, the Government has introduced the New Education Policy 2020 which is the first step toward education reforms.

The education policy has been implemented all over India to provide better school infrastructures and provide all books to those students also which do not afford the price of books.

The New Education policy is focused more on practical knowledge of students about that subject. Also, students have no pressure to carry books weight on their shoulders because there is also an activity where students have to come to school without their bags,

This policy has been inspired by western education because the western countries have followed this education system where they focused more on the practical knowledge of students as well as theoretical knowledge and this policy can do the major reforms in India’s Education system.
