9 Movies That Will Change Your Perspective Of Thinking

Sometimes animation movies can teach you an important lesson in your life. If you’re in a bad, depressing or if you feel unmotivated then I highly recommend you to take some time off the thing that is making you feel this way and see an animation movie.

You will find something to look up to and try to change your perspective of thinking. Do you want to know some of the movies which taught me a great lesson?

1) Brave- Be Courageous to Change Your Destiny

Finding the courage to be yourself in a world of societal values is not an easy task. You have to shut some mouths and have the confidence to do that.

This is a story of a young princess Merida she was forced to become perfect and elegant as a princess should be by her mom. She could have easily accepted her fate and walked in her mother’s footsteps instead Merida choose to climb mountains, splendidly shoot arrows and do everything in her power to escape the arranged marriage which was expected of her.

Her rejection of tradition shocks her clan and threatens to tear her family apart but Merida manages to heal that divide and convince everyone to let young minds think for themselves about whom they will marry or what they want to do.

Merida-“There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.”

Her courage inspires me to be exceptional in society’s wants. You just have to be brave to do what destiny kept for you and have an eye that can see it.

2) Monster Inc- Break All Stereotypes

Monster University taught us that there’s more than one way to achieve success. while the prequel message is focused on broadening our minds to life possibilities.

The original film was all about opening our hearts. In monster Inc, professional scarers collect screams from children while secretly fearing that those same kids could be deadly if, by mistake, they touch it.

A young girl named boo sneaks into the monster realm.  Mike and sully are the monsters who struggle to overcome their phobias about humans so that she can return home.

Over time, however, they accept and deeply care about boo. Seeing monsters who are always scared by all overcome their prejudices motivated me to overcome my fears of stereotypes caused by society.

"You and I are a team." "There's more to life than scaring."- Sulley

3) Coco- Family Is The Main Priority

Miguel Rivera has dreams of becoming a splendid musician like his great-great-grandfather. Unfortunately, his so-called great grandfather left the family to become a musician.

So, Miguel is effectively banned from even looking at the guitar. But this doesn’t stop Miguel from becoming what he wants. He tried many ways to achieve his dreams.

He resents his family’s decision and runs away when his grandmother breaks his guitar. When he accidentally travels to the land of the dead his deceased ancestors put themselves on the line to help him.

Once Miguel sees what they are willing to sacrifice for him, he understands how important family is and nothing is more important than it.

“ Nothing's more important than family.” -Miguel.

4) Cars- Make The Best Use Of The Time You Have With Your Friends

When you are a professional race car like my favourite lightening McQueen there isn’t much time to slow down but when the racer lighting mc queen accidentally wrecks the pavement in the town of Radiator Springs.

He is forced to stay there until he fixes all the damages. Firstly, he sees every moment in Radiator Springs when he spends more time away from his professional career.

However, lightning McQueen appreciates where he ended up and begins to make the best of it. His journey will remind you that things won’t always go as planned if you can find beauty in life’s detours you will end up in a better place than you imagined.

This grumpy old race car I know once told me something, ‘It’s an empty cup.'” — Lightning McQueen

5) Ratatouille- Your Background Doesn’t Choose Your Destiny

You must not let anyone define your limits because of where you come from. A rat named Remy will surely change your perspective to choose your future.

Remy a rat loved to cook he was an amazing cooker. And just imagine an animal which steals food from a human and is seen as a disgusting creature in the kitchen who wants to cook doesn’t it make you wonder like how is this possible and who can think in this way?

Remy proves in the movie that hard work and dedication are more important than appearance. Your appearance doesn’t define your future. It’s okay to struggle with self when it comes to appearance.

Later, Remy achieves his dream of becoming a chef in the famous kitchen and even calls his family and friends to eat. Listen to your heart more than human words.

Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere." – Food critic Anton Ego

6) Finding Nemo- Just Keep Swimming

This is a famous line in the movie it means to keep swimming even when you think you can’t reach your goal. If you kept swimming eventually you will find a new way from your lost path.

Merlin a dad must wander around the ocean to find his son Nemo. On the way, he finds a blue-coloured fish who tends to forget things in a blink of an eye her name was dory.

In this movie, they have major setbacks and are ready to give up but through it, all dory encourages merlin by saying “just keep swimming”.

Her simply advise and catchy rhythm makes this lesson impossible to forget and I bet you will remember it in times of trouble.

7) Inside Out- Embrace All Your Feelings

Joy is among the 5 emotions that live inside Riley’s head as you may have guessed she lives to make sure Riley is happy.

While working in the headquarter joy prioritized happiness over her counterpart’s sadness in particular. She thinks sadness will only bring despair. Accidentally joy had to travel with sadness.

Sadness helps a guy to cheer up after sharing her sadness with him and joy being the happiness couldn’t do anything about it. This is when she realizes that every emotion has its value.

When they return to headquarters joy accepts that she should sometimes team up with her coworkers.

Joy's journey and inside out show us that embracing all of your emotions is crucial to personal growth and emotions. Crying helps me slow down and obsess over the weight of life's problems- sadness

8) Up- An Adventure Always Awaits You

In the beginning, you can see here Carl and Ellie grow up old together while saving up for an adventure to Paradise Falls. Sadly, after Ellie passes away Carl abandons their dream and shuts himself away in his home.

It’s as if his world got over after Ellie’s death. When people attempt to remove him from his house, he straps a thousand balloons to it and flies towards Paradise falls.

During this trip, he accidentally brought a young boy named Russell which helped him to Change his zest for life. Although Carl didn’t go on the trip he planned, he inspires us by rising above and going on a new adventure.

“That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most.” — Russell

9) Toy Story- Friendship Is Key To Happiness

Friends can be tough to make and even harder to keep but they're worth the struggle. When woody first met buzz, he feared the new toy would steal their owner Andy's attention.

After an accident, the duo separated from Andy, and they were forced to work together to return home.

Over time they learn to accept each other's shortcomings and strengths. Eventually, the friendship becomes so strong over the series. Buzz and woody remind us that friendship is not always easy but if you stick by your friends, they will be there for you no matter what.

"You've got a friend in me. You got troubles and I got 'em, too. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you. We stick together, we can see it through 'cause you've got a friend in me."
