1. Tell us about your background and journey?

I started my journey as graphic designer way back in 1999, moved the ladder to Director Digital Deliveries, in my long corporate service I have worked with Esteemed companies like FCS Software, Canon, Quasar, Hogarth, Accenture, Oxigen Wallet, Pulp Strategy before I started my own startup Cloudwood Entertainment. 

From the academic front, I am MFA in Digital Arts and Prince2 Practitioner, Scrum Master along with Graduate from National Institute Of Information Technology (GNIIT).

2. How does Metaverse intrigue you?

Metaverse is the future of technology and if we ignore this today we will be left behind. Metaverse is going to be the successor to the mobile internet, it is “an integrated network of 3D virtual worlds.

3. How would you best explain Metaverse to amateurs?

The metaverse is essentially a collection of virtual worlds, where users can meet, play games, chat and buy stuff like we experience in physical environment. In the metaverse, people use avatars to represent themselves, communicate with each other, and virtually build out the community. 

In the metaverse, digital currency is used to buy clothes -- or weapons and shielding in the case of video games -- and many other items. Users can also virtually travel through the metaverse for fun with no goal in mind using a virtual reality headset and controllers.

 

4. Why would people go for virtual experience rather than taking experience?

While the term has been floating around for the last few years, the word “metaverse” was actually coined by author Neal Stephenson in his 1992 sci-fi novel Snow Crash. In his book, Stephenson referred to the metaverse as an all-encompassing digital world that exists parallel to the real world. 

The metaverse will take the virtual reality experience to the next level, allowing users to float into the virtual world to do everything from buy land and host parties to even get married through digital avatars. 

5. In your opinion how new opportunities are/will be created because of this concept?

Like we are developing India’s First Spiritual Metaverse ( Meta-god.io) which will be live early next year in Feb 2023, with this we have hired brains across India and some of them are way ahead of technology which We haven’t heard before. In coming years, I foresee that Metaverse will open doors for a lot of creative and technical minds and will create humungous opportunities. India itself will have multi-folds vehicles in Metaverse World.
