Things Hair Is Telling You About Your Health: Important Signs To Look Out For

Considering the fact that water is important for survival, so is hair for the human body. Hair forms a very aesthetic part of our body and also symbolizes beauty and elegance.

Nowadays people are very concerned about their hair if you compare it with previous times. Earlier there was no such concern regarding hair growth on your head but now with increasing hair fall, and baldness, people have become very cautious about their hair and try to seek ways to cure it.

Here's To Why Your Hair Reflects Health

Hairs and nails are those parts of the human body that will immediately reflect your health status. A dry and rough scalp indicates that your diet lacks healthy fats. Similarly thinning of hair means your diet lacks protein.

Also, if your hair looks dull it reflects that there is a deficiency in Omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. A deficiency in iron in your diet reflects brittle hair.

Teens and adults are suffering from premature greying. This is abnormal. Whereas our parents saw their first strand of grey hair in the late 50s, we encounter these grey hair from the age of 13 or 14 or maybe even below that. This indicates that your diet lags copper and hence there is a copper deficiency in your body.

Most women with long hair complain of split ends. This shows that your body is dehydrated. Lack of water supply to the body can cause dehydration which tends to directly affect your hair causing split ends.

An itchy scalp is a sign of zinc deficiency. Zinc is the most vital element of your body. It helps to process carbohydrates, fats, and proteins and breaks them into simpler forms so it becomes easier for the body to digest. But a lack of it results in health problems like converting a healthy scalp into an itchy one.

An increase in dandruff in your hair indicates that you are having an unbalanced diet in your meal plan. This happens when you tend to take bad fats like eating a lot of chocolates or a lot of dairy products. Reduction in this can help your scalp get rid of dandruff.

Baldness is a sign of aging. But this indication is not a good one if it occurs before the certified age. Baldness is a sign that you are at risk of hypertension.

Also, it may so happen that an increase in baldness can be a sign of heart disease or increased blood pressure.

If such a reason persists and has a genetic relationship with you, then it gives you a reason to check it out from a doctor.

Conclusion

Lastly, hair issues are the most obviously faced by many of us. Some are victims of pollution while others are of genetic conditions or irregular diets. Though there are preventive measures to take in order to protect hair and promote its growth like oiling it daily, shampooing it daily, having a properly balanced diet,

Still, I would suggest that if there are certain conditions pertaining to your hair loss or hair fall that cannot be treated in a natural way, then it's better to recommend it to a doctor rather than visiting the doctor after incurring the loss.

Moreover, we are in dire need to regulate our diets. Regulation of diet does not count for skipping meals. It means to have prim and proper meals to boost your health. Our climate and environment do not permit us to have diets that lack protein, vitamins, or carbohydrates. Hence following a diet that is gluten-free or carb-free makes your hair fall worse and deteriorates your health.

Also, one should definitely keep in mind that just having a healthy diet is sufficient for you and your beautiful health. Along with a balanced meal, one should also try to be happy and stress-free. Taking stress and burden adds to your hair fall problem and ruins your health at the same time.

It's quite obvious that you cannot detain yourself from taking stress as stress is natural to occur due to work pressure or workload. But one can at least give it a try so that your hair and health have a longer life and has more power to fight off any disease in the longer run.
