The biggest challenge was to convince my family to take up the stock market as a primary source of income and making a career out of the stock market. Hence, I started out by investing in small amount, and gradually when they saw me making profits from various platforms be it social media or trading, or otherwise, I got support and encouragement from them to take this forward.
1. Tell us about your
background and journey.
I was born in Rajasthan, coming from a business background, business came naturally to me, and was always drawn towards business more than studies. I saw my dad investing in the stock market since I was a kid, and got me curious about the stock market and gradually I started training myself on the technicalities of the stock market.
2. How and when did you decide that you
wanted to go into the field of Finance and create content?
Like I said I trained myself on the stock market and was finding ways and means to reach out to people to share my knowledge and experiences in the stock market. As social media, these days, has made interacting and knowledge sharing easy, I thought this would be the best means. Hence I started creating content on social media and sharing.
3. Have you trained other people in this
field and what mistakes did you observe, myths you busted, doubts people used
to ask in the beginning and how would you convince them?
Yes, right now we have around 1000 students who are getting trained solely under me. I observed that people were more inclined in making quick profits and lacked patience while trading which made them incur huge losses 90% people committed the same mistake. The Biggest myth that people carry is the stock market is a secondary source of income and cannot be the primary source of income But I aim to make people understand that if one understands and learns the technicalities of the stock market it has the potential to be the one primary source of income in a short time.
As far as doubts are concerned majority found
it difficult to believe that the stock market can make you earn huge profits,
while we trained them slowly and steadily through our trades and live training
sessions in the live market That help them gain confidence that profit-making
is possible in the stock market.
4. Since there are so many materials,
strategies, and channels available out there. Then what according to you should
be an ideal roadmap to invest in for a beginner?
Beginners should always first focus on learning and acquiring knowledge first from a reliable source practicing cost-learning and then start investing from a small amount.
5. Any principles in stock market investing
and trading that one needs to know?
Patience is the key to earn in the stock market. Because one cannot predict market volatility.
6. Do you have any interesting/thoughtful
experiences with your clients that you would like to share?
We had a couple who abruptly took trades assuming the market to go according to their instinct and prayed for their trades to go correct. interestingly it was later that they realised that they have been doing wrong the whole time and reason they made losses. Now post joining us they realised that for trading one need knowledge and not prayers.
7. Tell us about your journey as a stock
trader? What challenges did you face and what learnings did you get from it?
The biggest challenge was to convince my family to take up the stock market as a primary source of income and making a career out of the stock market. Hence, I started out by investing in small amount, and gradually when they saw me making profits from various platforms be it social media or trading, or otherwise, I got support and encouragement from them to take this forward.
8. Why do people find it so confusing to
invest their time and money in this field?
This is ecause of lack of knowledge and exposure in the share market in India.
9. How do you convince people that the
stock market is not a gamble?
By Making them understand that the market functions based on fundamentals and technical analysis that helps us predict possible market movements and not random predictions.
10. What's a typical day in the life of an
intraday trader and an investor?
My day typically starts early in the morning with Pranayam and yoga for Mental peace and health. Followed by taking a look at market positions and news half an hour before the market opens till the market shuts.
Post that it is very important to introspect
the mistakes and correct decision taken during the day and note the same for
future reference.
