Which includes- laundry detergent, dish cleaner liquid, toilet cleaners, and surface disinfectant which are commonly used to disinfect sofas and furniture. Even in small amounts it is highly toxic to cats and can cause severe health problems such as difficulty in breathing, vomiting, excessive drooling, and mouth infections. Even medicine that is for dogs shouldn’t be given to your cat without proper consultation. So, whenever you feel that your furry needs medication, consulting the vet is always the best and safest option. Some medicines that are toxic for cats are; ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, and antidepressants. As we all know cats are surprisingly curious and they can play with almost everything that rolls or moves, one such thing is batteries, alkaline or acid are highly toxic to cats. As cats like to play around, a battery by the looks of it can be a good time killer for your cat but batteries are as good of a cat killer as well. The substance contained inside the battery can easily leak out and can be ingested by your furry and on ingestion, it can cause severe damage such as a chemical burn of the mouth, it can obstruct the intestines, and can cause poisoning. However, while some may regard chocolate as a harmless and tasty treat, it is extremely toxic to cats and dogs, with cats being the most affected. Even small amounts are enough to kill your cat. The theobromine inside the chocolate is poisonous for cats. So to ensure proper health, make sure you keep your chocolate stash out of reach of your cat’s paws.
