Taylor Swift is an American singer and songwriter. She is very popular to write songs about her personal life. Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville at age 14 to become a country artist. In 2006 self-titled debut album made her the first female country singer to write or co-write a U.S. platinum-certified album entirely.

Swift's next albums, Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010) explored country pop. The former's "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me" were the first country songs to top the U.S. pop. sold over 200 million records globally, Swift is one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

1. Favourite Number 13

She considers 13 to be her lucky number. She had once said “I was born on the 13th, I turned 13 on Friday the 13th, and my first album went gold in 13 weeks. Also, my first song that ever went number 1,  had a 13-second intro, I didn't even do that on purpose. 

And every time I've ever won an award at an award show, I've either been seated in the 13th row or row M, which is the 13th letter. Five of her songs - "Teardrops on My Guitar", "White Horse", "Ours", "Gorgeous" and "Mastermind" - peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In the music video for "ME!", there are 13 clouds in one scene. In her song willow, she said 'that's my man' 13 times. If the apostrophe and spaces are counted, this line would have 13 characters. She was born in a Christmas farmhouse. Where her parents had a small house when she was 5-10 years old. It said that it was a weird place to grow up in and that she is grateful that is what makes her excited about the fall and Christmas eve. Swift invited 89 of her biggest fans over to her house to listen to her album. Taylor put on a show and even baked pumpkin chocolate-chip cookies for her guests. Taylor once saw that #ShakeItOffJalene was trending on Twitter and decided to act on it.

The hashtag referred to a four-year-old child who was battling terminal brain cancer and wished to dance to Shake It Off with the singer. So, Taylor immediately jumped on FaceTime and fulfilled this sweet girl’s wish.

To throw out all the negativity. Taylor Swift keeps the comments on her social profiles turned off. “One thing I do to lessen this weird insecurity laser beam is to turn off comments. Yes, I keep comments off on my posts. 

That way, I’m showing my friends and fans updates on my life, but I’m training my brain to not need the validation of someone telling me how I look”.
