Currently as a content creator after my morning chores, I  reply to all the mails. Upload a reel if I have to and start prepping for my shoots. By the time I am done with my shoots I have lunch. Take a break and work on some other project I am involved in.


1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey.

I have always enjoyed baking. As a kid, I would often dream about baking a perfect cake. After my MBA from NM, Mumbai, I pursued my passion for baking. From home baking to running a successful café called Oh, Cheat Day !, famous for its pancakes, brownies, and more, the journey has been beautiful. I also love to teach and share my experiences and passion for culinary.


 
2. When did you start your blog and how did you get the idea for it?

My café Instagram handle went by my café’s name “Oh, Cheat Day !”. During the pandemic, I started posting recipes on the same Instagram page to keep the page going. That’s how I got introduced to the world of content creation.



3. What is a favorite cuisine of yours and what makes you appreciate it? 

It's difficult to choose one but I really enjoy Asian. I quite enjoy Asian flavors and the magic we can create playing around with the Asian sauces.



4. According to you what distinguishes a blogger from an influencer?

Influencers promote their lifestyle and bloggers creates content through blog.


 
5. What advice do you have for anybody looking to pursue a career in blogging?

1) Be Consistent
2) Have a lot of patience 
3) Always try to learn, improve and upgrade your skills and knowledge. Continuous growth and development is the key
4) Have something unique which is yours.
For eg style of shoot, angle, or even probs.
5) In the process understand your audience and create your niche.


 
6. How do you describe your overall cooking philosophy?

Cooking for me is Therapeutic. It brings a lot of joy when I experiment around with ingredients, try to balance out the flavors, and understand the science behind food.


 
7. Where did you receive the most hands-on training?

In Surat when I was working in the central kitchen of a patisserie called Desserts and More. Next when I opened my own cafe “Oh, Cheat Day !"


 
8. What does a day look like? 

Currently as a content creator after my morning chores, I  reply to all the mails. Upload a reel if I have to and start prepping for my shoots. By the time I am done with my shoots I have lunch. Take a break and work on some other project I am involved in. Evenings are generally editing the videos, planning next day's content, researching and engaging on Instagram, replying to all the messages, and making sure I have all the ingredients ready that I need for next day’s Shoot.


 
9. What are some of the challenges and roadblocks you have faced along your journey?

I would not say challenges but definitely as a content creator sometime you have no idea about the ever-changing Insta Algorithms. It can get challenging at times but this is how it is. Also, competition has only helped me to move out of my comfort zone and grow and be a better version of myself. Only grateful to be sharing this space with other amazing creators and chefs.
