Vivek Rajput - I’d Say Empty Pockets Motivated Me, Father Helped Me to Put Things Out to People (Digital Creator From India)

I wanted to deliver the legit content hacks on my page, so, I shared everything I used to do to make my life easy. i thought sharing the same will help others. Everyday is a challenge for me, to find new hacks and tricks is the part which justify it.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I started as a tech blogger in 2016, that time I got "BlogX Blogger Of Year 2016 India" award for the successful work on my first blog called The247Tech, lateron it got upgraded to GearsToday. After that I started some freelance work for different clients and so on. By this time I stopped creating content completely but in 2021 I started creating content again via my Instagram page.

2. How and when did you decide that you wanted to go into the field of Technology and be a digital creator?

I started all this in 2015-16, that time I decided to create content and explore the tech space out of curiosity. 

3. How did you make a presence on Instagram? What challenges did you face?

4. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content while making reels on? 

I join a company called PDT and being there made me wonder if I can also start creating my content rather than telling anyone the solution.

5. What does your typical day look like?

It's pretty much same as a normal guy, I wake up, have the tea, some quick research, office and dinner at the end, nothing fancy I'd say but its fun!

6. What online resources do you use to help you do your work and How do you keep your technology skills up to date?

Google news and explore features on social media platforms. I keep myself around these pages and articles which helps me grow myself.

7. Did you work on real-time projects? If yes then would you like to tell us about it?

As of now I'm not working on any of it.

8. When you started with your journey and you couldn't see any tangible results what was your biggest source of motivation at that time?

I'd say empty pockets motivated me, father helped me to put things out to people. Eventually I feel they both are still working.

9. In this journey did you experiment and try out new things and take risks? If yes then would you like to share some instances?

I'm an Introvert person who loves tech, gadgets the most. As a blogger I used to write only. Never thought I'd every make videos or reels but It started as an experiment, so I did it. I had no idea then if people will love it. I started creating, creating and filtering one by one and people started accepting it.

10. Any book recommendations for tech-savvy people?

I'd say read more of a balancing books. One I can recommend is Digital Minimalism: Choosing a focused life in a noisy world by Cal Newport. It's a good one.
