Kim Taehyung is an artist who is professionally known as V. He began taking saxophone lessons in middle school with the support of his father to pursue a musical career. He passed an audition in Daegu and was selected as a trainee by Big Hit Entertainment.

The slogan "I purple you" was created by V at a BTS fan meetup in November 2016, and ever since then, purple has come to represent BTS and its followers. In their anti-bullying campaign with BTS, UNICEF utilized the slogan.

V, who placed ninth in 2018, was voted as the fourth most popular idol of 2019. He held the top spot among Korean celebrities in Japan for twenty-eight weeks in 2021.

His performance in every aspect is legit but his acting is not somewhat less. He acts so great that can be proven by his drama “Hwarang”, which is basically a Korean drama series that is based on historical aspects.
