Park Bong-pal could see spirits since he was a child. He employs his ability to expel spirits while working as an exorcist to earn money for a treatment that will render him incapable.  He meets Kim Hyun-ji, a tough high school student who became a wandering ghost as a result of a car mishap, at a haunted high school. Both are not conscious that they are being pursued by the same evil spirit that caused Hyun-ji's mishap and gives Bong-pal the ability to see ghosts.

About Series


Park Bong-pal (Ok Taec-yeon) develops the capacity to see spirits and works as an exorcist to earn money for treatment. He meets Kim Hyun-ji (Kim So-Hyun), a high school student who became a ghost due to a car mishap, and the two work together to battle ghosts to be liberated from their roaming and move on to the next life.


Bong-pal discovers that he is capable of taking on powerful spirits, but also that not all ghosts are evil. He falls in love with Hyun-ji, who reciprocates his emotions, but they are being pursued by the same evil spirit that caused their mishap.


Chun Sang and In Rang promote their GhostNet group at a cursed girls' school. An offer of one billion won is made to aspiring exorcist Park Bong-Pal to banish the same school, where he encounters Park Hyun Ji, the spirit of a high school student.


The story follows Bong Pal, a ghost-hunting group member, and Hyun Ji, his girlfriend.

Chun Sang and In Rang are trying to convince Bong Pal to join their group, and Bong Pal accepts a position at a spooky hotel. 


When Bong-pal and Hyun-ji begin dating, the investigators experience an unexpected event when they learn a revelation about Hyun-Joo. 

Myung Chul determines that Bong Pal requires security, but Hyun Ji wonders if sticking with Bong Pal is the best course of action. 


After discovering Park Ji-hoon's body, Myung-Chul understands what truly happened five years earlier, but he is hesitant to inform Bong-Pal.

Professor Joo Hye-Sung kidnaps Hyun-Ji, but her three companions Park B and Park B save her. 


Themes Involved


Horror- it is basically not that horror but the element of seeing the ghost by the main male lead creates such a scenario. 

Comedy- It has various scenarios depicting the elements of comedy. 

Mystery- it is the mystery in the way that how the girl was not aware of the mishappening to her and the main fact that she was in a coma and was unaware of the fact

Personal Verdict


According to me, the drama is well accumulated with the comedy sections and the horror elements in a balanced manner. The story depicted a girl, her past was clearly defined and creates a curiosity in the mind of the viewers regarding what will happen then. 

The drama is worth watching and everyone should watch it at least once.  


My rating for the drama series “Bring it on, ghost” is ⅘
