Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, is an accomplished cricketer from India. From 2007 to 2016, he served as the captain of the Indian National side in limited-overs cricket, and from 2008 to 2014, he led the team in test cricket.

During his school days in Ranchi, Dhoni initially found success in football and badminton. Between 1995 and 1998, Dhoni established himself as the regular wicketkeeper for the Commando cricket club. He was later chosen to represent the Under-16 Vinod Mankad Trophy competition. After completing his 10th grade, Dhoni focused entirely on cricket and even worked as a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) at the Kharagpur railway station from 2001 to 2003.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni tied the knot with his classmate Sakshi Rawal on July 4, 2010. At the time of their marriage, Sakshi was a hotel management student and had been interning at the Taj Bengal in Kolkata. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ziva, into the world on February 6, 2015, while Dhoni was in Australia with the Indian squad for the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Despite the joyous occasion, Dhoni made the selfless decision to stay with the team on national duty and delayed his return to India. His dedication and commitment to cricket were evident when he stated, "I am on national duty, other things can wait."
