In the year 2017, Ravindra Jadeja became a parent. That year, their daughter Nidhyana was born to his wife Reeva. Career

On July 20, 2015, against England, he reached his first Test century. After dismissing Sam Billings at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on January 22, 2017, Ravindra became the first Indian left-arm spinner with 150 One Day International wickets. 

In the same year, Jadeja replaced Ravichandran Ashwin, who had previously held this position, as the top-ranked bowler. He scored his first test century in 2018 while playing in Rajkot against the West Indies. He became the third cricketer for India to reach 2,000 runs and 150 wickets in ODIs in March 2019.

Jadeja has participated in both First-Class Cricket and the IPL. At the 2012 IPL Auctions, the Chennai Super Kings put him up for auction and received $2 million. Jadeja was bought by the Gujarat Lions for 9.5 crores in the 2016 IPL Players Auction, which took place after the Chennai Super Kings were suspended from the IPL for two seasons.
