Garlic juice and spicy sauce are optional; it is frequently served with an addition of each.

If you did your own search for moussaka, you would not find a recipe for the dish in the photo. Because it is made in many ways. Both ways are familiar in Egypt, this recipe is made with eggplant being fried and then mixed with tomato sauce.
Most of this food you can find in other middle eastern countries either the same recipe or a different one. But nowadays you can find this food anywhere in the world. When I was searching, I found that there are about 5 restaurants that sell shawarma in an Indian city. You can eat any country's cuisine from your own city now.
I hope this article influenced you to try these dishes, either cooking them yourself or trying them in a restaurant. Everyone in Egypt has a different recipe for each dish, so it is okay if you find one different than the photo. What is important is to enjoy the meal.
