On personal comment it instantly became my favorite too, making me watch it twice after finishing it. The series was inspired by DC Comics' character which was created by “Neil Gaiman”, a show revolving around Lucifer Morningstar.

The ruler of hell decides to abandon his throne out of boredom and settles in Los Angeles, The city of Angeles. The story revolves around “Lucifer Morningstar”, The Devil played by Tom Ellis, in which he with his careless attitude starts solving crime mysteries with Chole Decker, his partner using the gift given to him by his father “The God” to bring out peoples hidden desires.

His witty dialogues, charismatic attitude, and great sense of humor keep the audience captivated.

Key Takeaways We All Should Learn From (My Perspective)

1. Redemption and Forgiveness

It is one of the central ideas of the show, Lucifer who seeks out redemption for his past mistakes made by him in his anger and gets a chance to forgive himself, only to find out his true calling, Helping the lost souls in hell.

He helped out the lost souls in hell to forgive themselves and end their hell loop. He taught them to confront their inner demons, acknowledge the mistakes done in the past, and take responsibility for their action.

2. Family Dynamics

The series showcases the twisted relationship among the family members of Lucifer, particularly the strained bond between Lucifer and his elder brother, Amenadiel, and their manipulative father, God.

The show perfectly showcases the situation of current family situations through them where because of miscommunication among members of a family the healthy relationship delves into complicated dynamics and there was only one solution to that fully transparent communication.

3. Love and Vulnerability

Love and Vulnerability are the most powerful and transformative forces for character development as they are shown in the series. Lucifer who always hides his vulnerability finally decides to accept them, his love interest Chole Decker helps him to learn unconditional love and acceptance by overcoming his fears and vulnerability.

The show highlights the power of love to challenge, heal and inspire characters while emphasizing that vulnerability is essential for meaningful connections and personal growth.

4. Consistency of Character Growth

Throughout the series, we have seen Lucifer going through great character development, from a self-indulge playboy to a self-reflective and caring man. Lucifer’s growth is reinforced in every episode where he makes mistakes and learns from them.

With the progress in shows, we have seen Lucifer becoming more self-aware, empathetic, and selfless, showing a consistent development of his character.

5. Exploration of Faith and Belief

Faith and Belief becomes one of prominent themes in the show. The show portrays a contrast of faith and belief very beautifully where Lucifer questions the existence of “The God”, his father, and the way he rules over humanity challenging the ideology of the great plan, whereas on the other hand His elder brother, Amenadiel shows a significant amount of faith in “The God”, believing in him completely and following his every order.

In the end, Lucifer also starts believing in the mysterious guidance of his father.

6. Have Some Fun, Otherwise Life is Nothing

If we are talking about fun, Lucifer at LUX is the perfect example of how to let yourself free from everything and enjoy the moment of your life. Lucifer has taught us how to have fun in everything you do, otherwise what stories would you have when you turn old?

Lucifer's carefree attitude may not be accepted every time, but sometimes you need to be free from worries and tensions inside your head.

7. Don’t Judge Others

Personally, I have to say we humans have no right to decide what is evil or what is good. The series shows us that Lucifer who is depicted as evil in every story from the dawn of time may be just someone who is also a lost soul. We are ready to say that Devil made me do this or that, but is it actually true?

We make choices independently, purely based on our instincts, and then to avoid responsibility for it we blame someone else. Just like how Lucifer always thinks his father was manipulating him but didn’t he let him make his own choices, his own decisions, realizing in the end it was all his decisions.

The Series “Lucifer” was not about watching his issues, in some cases we felt a connection between his problem and ours making a great connection between what was going on the screen and in our personal life, getting advice for our own personal issues.

Linda gave much advice to Lucifer, but my favorite one is “Sometimes when someone has real feelings for someone, and it doesn’t work out, they shut down to anything new until they can deal with those leftover feelings “, it clearly says what is the root problem for everything that happens afterward.
