Facing the camera felt natural, like living a reality rather than just acting. |
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
It was the year 2022 in April when I began going to the gym, and that's when I decided to share short videos and reels of my workouts. Since childhood, I harbored a dream of facing the camera, and I discovered my camera-friendly side, motivating me to create content spanning different genres, including emotional, comedic, and motivational videos.
Content creation became an avenue for showcasing my acting skills, a childhood aspiration. Over time, facing the camera felt natural, like living a reality rather than just acting. My content revolves around a spectrum of emotions, comedy, and motivational themes.
2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?
After graduating from engineering college and working for an MNC for a year, I realized that it wasn't the path I wanted for my life. The void was filled when I started facing the camera, a contrast to the world of computer codes. I began posting on Instagram in April 2022, starting with gym videos that evolved into a mix of emotional, motivational, and comedic content.
3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?
It is undoubtedly an accomplished career. Brand collaborations offer financial stability, with opportunities for marketing products to target audiences. Breaks in movies or series are possible based on genre and acting skills. Patience and consistency are key.
4. Who is your favorite creator and why?
"Sanyam Sharma," known as Sharma ji ka bada beta, is my favorite content creator. His delivery of subtle comic humor, blending sarcasm and facts, is irreplaceable.
5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
Since childhood, when asked about my aspirations, I would reply, "I will be on TV." That childhood conviction guided my career choice.
6. What does your typical day look like?
My day starts around 12 pm as I'm a night person. I analyze and prepare scripts at night. Afternoons are dedicated to shooting, along with everyday activities like the gym and spending time with my team. I occasionally indulge in travel, a hobby that provides satisfaction and a chance for reflection.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
"Who Will Cry When I Die" by Robin Sharma is one of my favorite books. It inspires and motivates, offering a practical approach to leading a satisfying life with a focus on aim, passion, and prosperity. It serves as an excellent self-help guide for personal growth.
8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?
Don't waste time; get up and work hard. Embrace failure, but rise after each setback. Follow the "one day at a time" policy, leading to new heights. Remember the quote, "Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached."
