Nidhi Prashant Joshi - Insights About The Industry Of Fame (Influencer & Aspiring Actress, 871k Followers)

"Don’t lose hope if your videos aren’t getting likes or views. Keep creating, stay consistent, and your time will come, because one day, your content might be the one that trends."

1. Can you introduce yourself and share what inspired you to become a content creator, influencer, and dancer?

Hello, I'm Nidhi Prashant Joshi. I never initially envisioned myself as a content creator, dancer, or influencer. However, seeing people on platforms like Instagram and TikTok expressing themselves through dance and content creation inspired me. I thought, "If they can do it, why can't I?" That was the moment I decided to take a leap and start creating dance videos.

2. What was the turning point in your career that made you realize you could make a significant impact as an influencer?

The turning point came when my mother recognized my potential and encouraged me to pursue content creation seriously. Her belief in my talent gave me the confidence to explore this path, and it’s been a driving force ever since.

3. How did you handle the setback of your old social media account being disabled, and what motivated you to start fresh?

When my account with 38,000 followers got disabled, it was a major setback. I still had a backup account with 15,000 followers, but I felt defeated and considered giving up. However, my sister reminded me that one failure doesn’t define everything. She motivated me to push forward, saying, "Who knows? One day, you might even reach a million followers." That gave me the strength to start fresh and rebuild.

4. What strategies do you use to create content that stands out and resonates with your audience?

At first, I focused on makeup and skincare content, but it didn’t resonate as well as I’d hoped. So, I shifted my approach, creating dance videos on TikTok after my lip-syncing content didn’t gain much attention. The dance videos gained traction, and I used the same strategy on Instagram, which helped me connect with a larger audience.

5. Can you share a memorable collaboration or project that had a significant impact on your career?

One memorable collaboration was when I went live on an app where I interacted with people, earning ₹8000 from it. It was a special moment because it was my first real earning from content creation. Another significant milestone was attending the screening of Tiger Zinda Hai and later receiving an invitation for the screening of Munjiya in 2023.

6. How do you stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the digital content space?

I keep myself updated by following trending audios and videos in my feed. Whenever I see the white arrow indicating a trending audio, I quickly create content using that sound. This method has helped me stay relevant and consistently reach new audiences.

7. What advice would you give to aspiring influencers who are just starting out?

To aspiring influencers, my advice is simple: don’t get discouraged if your videos don’t get views or likes right away. Everyone starts somewhere, and sometimes it takes a little time for your content to catch on. Keep creating and stay consistent—your time will come.

8. If you could collaborate with any celebrity or brand in the world, who would it be and why?

If I could collaborate with anyone, it would be Salman Khan. I’ve been a huge fan of his since childhood and have never missed a single one of his films. Collaborating with him would be a dream come true.

9. What's one fun fact about you that your followers might not know?

A fun fact about me is that, despite how I might appear on social media, I’m actually a simple girl who loves traditional outfits like sarees. I’m also quite emotional and can get hurt easily, though I try not to take life too seriously. I’m funny, a bit of a "tapori" at times, and while I can be romantic, I don’t like wearing revealing outfits.
