"I draw from my own experiences and try to tap into memories or feelings that resonate with the character."
I actually didn’t plan to go into modeling. I was discovered during a college event, and from there, things just sort of took off. I’m grateful for the opportunities and the amazing people who encouraged me along the way. Modeling became my entry point into the industry, and from there, I ventured into acting, which has been such a rewarding experience.
Q. What do you enjoy most about modeling? And are there any challenges that people might not expect?
Modeling has given me a platform to express different aspects of myself. I enjoy collaborating with talented designers and photographers to bring a vision to life. But it’s definitely not all glamour—there are long hours, intense travel, and lots of pressure to maintain an ideal look. It can be demanding, but I think the rewards make it worth it.
Q. You’ve worked with some incredible brands and photographers. Is there a specific project that’s particularly memorable for you?
Oh, that’s tough because every project brings something unique. But one that stands out was my first international shoot with Channel. It was nerve-wracking but so fulfilling. It gave me a fresh perspective on my work and really pushed me to grow.
Q. Let’s talk about your transition into acting. Was that something you always wanted to pursue?
Not at all, actually! I used to be quite shy about acting. But as I spent more time in the industry, I became fascinated by the storytelling process. Acting lets me explore emotions and characters in a way that modeling doesn’t, so it’s been a new adventure.
Q. You mentioned the emotional aspect of acting—how do you prepare for roles, especially when it involves portraying intense emotions?
I draw from my own experiences and try to tap into memories or feelings that resonate with the character. Sometimes, it’s challenging to separate your emotions from the character, but it’s also what makes acting such a powerful experience.
Q. The modeling and entertainment industry can be tough. What advice would you give to young women who want to follow in your footsteps?
I’d say: be resilient and stay true to yourself. It’s easy to get lost in the chaos of the industry, so grounding yourself in your values is essential. Also, build a strong support system. The right people in your corner make a world of difference.
Q. Great advice! So, what’s next for you? Are there any upcoming projects you’re excitedabout?
I’m currently working on a couple of projects that allow me to explore different genres and styles. I can’t reveal too much yet, but I’m excited for the audience to see this next phase of my work. I’m focusing on projects that challenge me creatively.
Q. We’re looking forward to seeing what you do next! Lastly, what do you hope to leave behind as your legacy in the industry?
That’s a big question! I hope to be remembered as someone who brought authenticity and heart into her work. I want to inspire people, especially young women, to pursue their passions with courage and compassion.
