"Keep expectations at minimum, enter with a mind to learn and enjoy the process"
1. Can you share your journey into acting and modeling?
I always loved modeling, and acting happened by chance. I got a portfolio done right after graduation while doing my CA articleship. I felt I should give it a try because I have good height and features. I wanted to see myself in advertisements.
2. What's been your most memorable career experience so far?
Working in movies has been an incredible journey for me. I realized how hard people work on set. It’s an adventure in itself.
3. How do you prepare for your roles, whether in acting or modeling? Are there any specific routines or techniques you follow?
I’m new to acting, but from my short experience, I feel being present in the moment is crucial. Of course, once you are prepared with your lines, half the work is done. The rest happens when you are in front of the camera. It’s a beautiful experience. I love the camera, whether it’s for a film, an ad, or a photoshoot—I enjoy every moment of being shot.
4. How has your work in acting and modeling influenced your personal growth and development?
I’ve learned a lot from both fields. Patience is the first thing acting has taught me. Everything has its own time, and I can’t achieve much alone—everything has to fall into place, and every single person on and off set is important.
Modeling, on the other hand, taught me to love myself the most. It’s always fun, as shoots typically last for a day or a few days. It feels like a picnic combined with work.
5. Any exciting upcoming projects or collaborations?
There are a few exciting projects, and I’ll share more details soon on my social media.
6. What advice would you give to young individuals aspiring to enter the world of acting and modeling?
Keep your expectations minimal. Enter with a mindset to learn and enjoy the process. Accept that there will be good and bad days. It’s highly competitive, but there’s still room for newcomers. Always give your best and grab every opportunity—never view any work as small or big. Work is work, and you never know what tomorrow holds.
7. If you could play any character in a movie or TV show, who would it be and why?
I would love to play a mythological role like Draupadi or a strong character like the protagonist in The Queen’s Gambit. A queen’s role would also be a dream come true. I find Mahabharata to be a beautiful epic with so much to learn about life—it’s deeply inspiring, and I’d love to be a part of it.
