1. Risha, can you share a bit about your journey into the film industry?

My journey towards industry was like a magical dream I had grown up as an athlete from childhood I had a lot of different stages from an national athlete to become an movie star the journey of my life was only cup of sugar, during my college days I use to get a lot of offer regarding add shoot , won the title of miss Mysore 2019 to get into few shoot and sign my first movie , for all my inspiration Rishab Shetty sir plays an prominent role which I played a small character with shine Shetty in harikathe Alla girikathe gave me a lot steps to come into movie industry.

2. You've played a variety of roles in your career. Which one has been the most challenging and why?

I love all my characters, and to be frank, I have played variety of characters like different characters in each movie , I love to take the challenging characters ahead. I have a lot of dreams to play a more and roles among the roles which have played the most challenging was and the movie called parakrami because it was a comedian oriented, which was very fun for me to take a part of that, and I love my character in Bangalore in I have a multiple partners in that which gives my shades in multiple roles, that was a kind of bit challenging to me.

3. How did it feel to receive a SIIMA nomination for your performance in Crazy Keerthy?

Yeah, it is a great field. When your movie get nominated or someone recognise it so I was lucky in that my first movie got nominated to Saima. I was very pleased and happy with that. I hope I’ll give my rest movies to be also nominated and win the award soon. It was a great event organised by the siima team at Dubai.

4. Working with different teams can bring unique experiences. How was it collaborating with a new team for Gangster of Rajadhani?

Yeah, working exactly working with a new teams. Always give us the new things to learn. I was so happy to sign the movie called gangster of Raja Thani because it was coming up with a new team. A new director filled with a lot of dreams, so the characters was very specific for the role shooting will held in Mumbai. This was a great project where gangster itself it reunite a group of people entering mystery, and this project gives a lot of hope.

5. What has been the most rewarding aspect of your acting career so far?

Yeah, this is a inspiration thing for an actor. When a director says you gonna rock the stage. One day the most inspiration quote that my director have told you’ll become a one take artist that is a very happiness of moment. When some directors tell to you in the set during my shooting crazy Kirti, I have worked with Om Prakash Rao Sir, the legend director so when he mentioned these lines, I felt very happy and my rest of the teams and directors are also happy with my acting things. So my second movie Bangalore at that time, my Director called me and he told madam, you gonna fit into be a great villain that will matter when the Director trust you and give the character, and you fill that character, and they are happy with that role. That is agreat reward you’ll ever get it.

6. Can you share a memorable moment or experience from the set of Bangalore Inn?

Bangalore was the movie. I signed my second project that gave me a lot of opportunity and I am so happy to work with the team. I’ve acted with Dharma Kirti Raj. He plays a lead role in the movie Bangalore in a set where I got a lot of opportunities to learn, and the team was excellent and my character from the movie, my director always tell me people gonna rock you in this because I have that pieces of stages in this and we are coming in the theatres soon. Hope people gonna shower their love towards a movie and my experience in Bangalore and I’m literally waiting to see in the back screen where I’ve played a variety of characters in that.

7. And for a fun question, if you could star in any movie from the past, which one would it be and why?

Actually, this is not a fun question. This is a drastic question for me. It’s okay, but I had a dream to work with Dulquer Salman sir when the dream come and stand in front of you and you can’t take that in your hand, it was me due to my college final exams. I could not sign up a song with. Sir, which felt me very broken. I hope in my future. I’ll do a movie with Dulquer Salman Sir. It is adream for me, and it always stands a strong manifestation for me to work with him.

Risha Gowda is a 26-year-old actress with three years of experience in the film industry. Standing at 5'4" and weighing 57 kg, she has built a diverse portfolio of roles. Risha gained recognition for her performance in Crazy Keerthy, which released on November 3, 2023, and earned her a SIIMA nomination. She also played the second lead alongside Dharma Keerthi Raj in Bangalore Inn and took on the lead roles in Austin Na Mahan and Gangster of Rajadhani, collaborating with a new team.
