Disha Sinha - My Inspiration Comes From My Father, a BSF Officer (Fitness Influencer With 154K Followers)

"Inspired by my father, a BSF officer who thrived despite adversity, I’ve learned that even when life falls apart, you can rebuild stronger than ever."

1. Disha, how did your journey as a fitness model begin?

My fitness journey started back in 2018 during my college days. I began working out casually but quickly fell in love with the gym. Since then, I’ve been consistently striving to improve myself.

2. Fitness is a huge part of your life. What inspired you to pursue this path?

My inspiration comes from my father, a BSF officer, whose discipline and resilience have always been a guiding force in my life. Despite becoming 50% disabled in a terrorist attack while on duty, he has never let it hold him back. He even runs an NGO to support others like him. His willpower and values have taught me to stay strong and focused.

3. What does a typical day in your life look like, balancing workouts, diet, and downtime?

Balancing everything is a challenge, but I’ve built a structured routine. I’m pursuing a full-time MBA, managing a deep-tech startup and a software company, and creating content. My day starts at the gym, followed by recording content, attending college, and then handling office work. I always prepare my meals in advance to ensure my diet stays on track.

4. Can you share a particularly challenging moment in your fitness journey and how you overcame it?

Managing my fitness routine while traveling for work or juggling my MBA and home responsibilities has been tough. At times, it feels overwhelming, but I remind myself to stay committed and adapt to the situation.

5. How do you stay motivated to keep pushing your limits?

I’ve faced tough times, especially when my father was hospitalized for three years. Watching him recover and rebuild his life from scratch taught me that no matter how much life tests you, it’s possible to start again and rise stronger.

6. For those looking to start their fitness journey, what’s one piece of advice you’d give?

My advice would be to embrace the setbacks. There will be moments when you feel like giving up, and that’s okay. The key is to keep pushing your limits and remember—it’s never too late to start.

7. If you could train with any athlete or fitness expert, living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would love to train with Miranda Cohen. Her fitness style and approach inspire me greatly.
