Education is not just a fundamental right but a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty, empower individuals, and transform societies. However, for millions of underprivileged children in India and around the world, access to quality education remains a distant dream. These children, often battling economic hardships, lack of resources, and systemic inequalities, are the very ones whose empowerment through education can unlock unprecedented social and economic progress.
If our mind is stuck in the whirlpool of how many barriers as a citizen there are for us. Gender, religion, or caste would not hold the sole ownership on the weighing scale. In the long list of what we live and breathe through, having and not having money is what keeps the lives of thousands of people on either side of the veil. A veil that will always be overshadowing over the ones who cannot afford to have a healthy and safe environment not just for themselves alone, but their family members too.
We are always categorizing every minute decision that is made or the misstep that was once taken. Thoughts running all over the place, in the pool of what ifs. But what about the lives of children who were categorized since birth. And don’t have much to say in the situation. Not even the privilege of being in the state of imagining about what if. The ones who cannot afford to go to a school, give their tuition fees, have a uniform, new books, shoes, or a place where their status won’t be the hot topic of the class.
What If?
Getting out of the neat little box and getting a reality check. What if we have a chance to make the difference? Letting children have what they deserve. A life where books and knowledge is more precious than money. A world where one can justify their decisions on the basis of what they have learnt. After gives them an opportunity to be a step closer to their what if.

1. What if they could have a scholarship, become a writer, or doctor.
2. What if their parents could have rest that they deserve too.
3. What if things are simpler, because I can make it happen.
Children just need a door for them to open. All they want is to get past the threshold. Acknowledge the possibilities of everything they can achieve.
Across The Threshold
World is way beyond what a human eye can see. Languages change, food enhances, subjects are available in abundance. Across the threshold is a place where the word ‘unprivileged’ is not whispered under hushed tones. It is accepted and helped out in any way or form one can. Let’s not be the veil, let’s be the world so many children have not yet explored or even heard of.
Development Can Not Be Monetized
A world deserves to have new discoveries and prosper in ways no one has ever thought before. Earth was supposedly flat, Pluto was once a planet of solar system and now it’s not. I can go on and on about things that can or can not be absolute truths. But for that you and I are not the only ones to be one of those people who can be a step closer to the next big change the world never thought there could be. So, let’s not monetize education. Let education be the medium of development and growth, ignoring the bars of privileged and unprivileged.
