Tanvi Miglani - While the Growth Started Again COVID Came and I Suffered Major Pcod Issues (Actor, Radio Jockey, and Anchor)

"The natural version of you makes you a person to whom people remember. Pretending doesn’t last long."

Q. If you had to describe your life journey so far as a movie title, what would it be and why?

I guess its Queen, because I was into choreography when I was in school and I began hosting events and got a chance to be at DD Rajasthan as a host & also a radio jockey at community radio 90.4 FM at the age of 17. That boosted my confidence and gave me strength to find more about my career. I completed my BJMC and persued in TV and film industry, got into learning the process of media and soon I started auditing for shows which to my surprise gave me a sudden loss of confidence and I started fearing camera. Not just that I also started suffering from clinical depression as Mumbai is never an easy city due to high living expense.

I am into spirituality so it gave me some strength to suffer but still fight so I continued and it took me 4 years to feel fearless to come back on screen and that is when I got a chance to be a lead actor in a web series and also some music videos.

While I was doing it I also got a chance to assist being a translator and also a co writer for a documentary which got uploaded on Netflix UK named INDIA’S FORGOTTEN PEOPLE.

While the growth started again Covid came and I suffered major PCOD issues which led to heavy gaining and despite diets and workouts I lost No weight and hence started loosing my energy and confidence.

This time I suffered but not the first time, this time using my spirituality as the weapon I decided to fight even if I wanted to cry every night thought to give up one moment but still stood up.

Being the only child of my parents and after loosing my father, Being the sole earner I re started my journey as an anchor and also started doing fashion influencing which helped me understand that I have to learn embracing my body rather than embracing the body which I wanted to obtain, I stopped gaining but remained with same kind of body type. I got to work with Trell, Amazon, Meesho, Simsim as an influencer and because of my speaking skills and confidence, I became one of the good anchors of Jaipur and now I get chances to host bigger events in more cities too like Delhi, Mumbai, Assam, Faridabad, Gurgaon etc.

So the suffering made me better and the strength of my suffering made me an independent woman that now Am getting married and am glad that am able to support my mom with 50% of finance for my own wedding.

So yes Becoming the Queen myself living a King Life. Wandering discovering and trying to manifest the life I wanted.

Q. What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself while acting or anchoring?

I realised that even after years of working you can still suffer fear on camera. But at the same time I learnt that the fear leads to you a better version as the quote is really true “darr ke aage jeet hai”.

I realised that the way you think of yourself is the way world thinks of you. As I shared about my gaining issues, the time when I gained being embarrassed people questioned me a lot but after I became confident in my skin people started looking at my confidence forgetting the same weight i continued gaining. So yes I understood the concept of self reflection.

Q. What’s one childhood dream that you still hold onto, and do you plan to pursue it someday?

Its Acting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film or Hosting a reality show. I wanna do both honestly. I want people to remember my work the way we remember Irfan Khan sir in acting and even his first show Maano ya Na Maano.

Q. How do you infuse your personal style and personality into the content you create?

I have become fully natural. I dont prepare wedding scripts anymore as I want to speak to people as If Am a family. I am a fun loving person and thats the the aura I want to create in every event or every video I make. I love cracking jokes, laugh or speak.

I have become natural in my style whether influencing, acting or hosting. As I believe the natural version of you makes you a person who people remember. Pretending doesnt last long.

Q. If you could time travel, would you visit your past self or your future self? What would you say?

I guess I would visit my past. Where I can meet my father and then I would tell my past to become happy with the smaller things that were there as they meant alot that moment but they weren’t things that should be the center of my life. I would tell myself to smile more, embrace myself, laugh more and do what i wanted to with no fear.

Q. If you could collaborate with any historical figure or legend in the entertainment industry, who would it be and what would you create?

I guess I would collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to create more historical films or with Aamir Khan as he doesn’t do too many films but what he makes is impactful. For Anchoring I hope I become a history for people to remember.
