"I never chased perfection—just the courage to stand tall, work hard, and prove I’m worthy of every dream I dare to pursue."
1. From RJ to Miss India Multinational to acting—how do you introduce yourself today?
I introduce myself as all three—an actor, a former radio jockey, and Miss India Multinational. Each of these roles has shaped me into who I am today. My experience as an RJ gave me strong voice modulation skills, while pageantry taught me discipline and self-improvement. Acting is the culmination of these experiences, and I take immense pride in each achievement because I worked incredibly hard for them.
2. How have radio, pageantry, and acting shaped your storytelling skills?
I’m not sure if I’d call myself a storyteller, but I do enjoy presenting situations in a fun, comical way. There's no shortage of knowledge in the world, but there is a shortage of light-heartedness. As an RJ, my life wasn’t particularly exciting—I’d talk about something as mundane as a flat tire, but I’d make sure it sounded funny and relatable.
Pageantry didn’t directly shape my storytelling, but my confidence in speaking definitely helped during that phase. Beauty is subjective, but I always believed in my ability to communicate effectively. Acting, however, is an entirely different skill. It's challenging, but I love every bit of it.
3. TV shows, ads, music videos—which medium excites you the most and why?
Honestly, I love performing every day, which is why I create Instagram content regularly. But if I had to choose, films excite me the most. They allow ample time for character preparation, unlike TV shows and ads. I enjoy ads too, but TV is particularly tough. I've done two shows, and the long-term commitment they demand can be overwhelming. I’d love to do more short-span TV projects. Ultimately, everything excites me—and scares me a little—but daily content creation for Instagram remains my constant joy.
4. Does the pressure of "perfection" from pageantry still follow you in acting?
Not at all. I take pride in not being perfect. I'm impulsive, and I often "wing it," as my best friend says. I’ve never aimed for perfection—just for excellence and worthiness. Whether it was standing among the most beautiful women in pageantry or being recognized as a good actor, my focus has always been on hard work, not flawlessness.
5. What’s one myth about the entertainment industry you’d like to break?
The biggest myth is that you can't succeed here unless you look a certain way, come from an influential family, or have industry connections. That's simply not true. Consistent effort and perseverance can take you far, regardless of your background. I come from a humble family with no ties to the film industry, but I was blessed with their unwavering support. Hard work truly does open doors.
6. If you could swap lives with any fictional character for a day, who would it be?
Definitely Rapunzel! She’s adventurous, playful, a dream-chaser, and a go-getter. Plus, she has long hair, just like me! I’d love to embody her spirit and, like her, look back one day and feel proud of everything I’ve achieved.
